Kaysville Pond

I went out to Kaysville pond monday. Only been out there twice now but I caught alot of catfish and a few bass and bluegills. Good fishing, Matt

Congrats on the good looking fish. How long has it been openned to fishing (I understood it was closed for awhile to give the new landscape a chance to take hold)?

Im not really sure when they opened it. Some of the gates still have no trespassing signs up but I had a DWR agent ask for my license and all he said was you gotta be parked on the street. Good fishing, Matt

were they channel cats or muds? and how many did you catch? oh and what did you catch the fish on?

They were all channels. I caught about 14 off a night crawler about a foot and a half under a weighted float. The biggest ones were about 2 1/2 or 3 pounds. Fish the mouths of the creeks between the ponds. Weird cats I saw a kid catch one off a castmaster and a guy get one on a wooley booger. Good fishing, Matt
