Strawberry Ice to break up

Just to relay some info. yesturday the ice was out 4 to 5 feet from shore. By this week end it should be good for those guys who like to through lures on the ice and pull them off to let them fall.

Could be fun!

Thanks for the report James.

Scofield is just ahead of there with casting distance to the ice around most of the lake. Ice-out has got to be one of the fastest times to fish during the year. I caught one Rainbow yesterday dragging a worm off the ice. It didn't even hit the bottom in about 5-6 feet of water with a 1/4oz. bullet above the leader. I prefer spinners or buggers for the technique, but they just weren't hitting them yesterday. I'll have to see if I fit in a trip to the berry within the week. Thanks again for the info.
