Cobia fishing has picked up along the Orange Beach area in the last couple of days. The water temp is finally getting right with some schools of bait finally showing up as well. We Cobia fished all day and had a really good time. Great conditions and a lot of fish yielded us 5 for 10. We had a 73, 48 and a 39 with two releases. It was one of the best days that we have had in a long time. We saw 3 pairs, and the rest were singles. Some of the pairs were very skittish but the singles were hungry. We will be out again tomorrow and hopfully this trend will continue.

GREAT REPORT!!! Thanks for keeping us posted on the Cobia!
I also had a great weekend fishing. But Its going to be posted on the Florida board. Just imaging 19 people catching a truckload of vermillion snapper up to 19 inches and one 12 pound Red Snapper (released). and several 10-15 pound grouper. The rest of our trip would sound more like a weather report than a fishing report. But all made it in safe and sound.
Thanks again for the report and Tight Lines and Bent rods!!
