You just bought the Lowrance X-125 right?

Just remember red and black and you'll do fine. You'll use the in-line fuse on the red positive side and black to the ground on the battery. All other wires are bells and whistles. The transducer has it's own plug.

There is 3 different wire stock, one has white, red and black, the other has a red, black and silver, and the other one has blue, orange, yellow and silver. The main power cord is going to be the largest????

Two sets of those cables are communications cables. Your NMEA & NMEA 2000 cabling for marine equipment communication. One of the 3 wire sets is the power hook ups.

I went to Lowrance and downloaded their X-125 manual and it looks pretty simple. It's attached to this post. Also there is an addendum for the X-125 you may want to see also. I didn't check it out. It may shed more light on your situation.

Now with those addendum instructions, it makes it easier, instead of dealing with 11 wires, I only have to deal with 2 wires and cap all the other ones!!!!
