First of all what type of fish do you want to catch? If you are looking to catch bass try 1/8oz or 1/4oz jigs with Yamamoto grubs. Right know a jerk bait will work on both bass and walleye a Smithwick blue back orange bottom jerk bait is a good choice. Walleyes at night or early morning will hit sinking cd7 rapalas and also shad raps. Live bait try minnows, nightcrawlers and worms. If you want to fish trout try Panther Martins, Roostertails and Mepps spinners. The Arkansas is producing fish so is South Platte river. At Eleven mile and Spinney fish are hitting. I have been fishing lake Pueblo and catching spotted and smallmoth bass on the Smithwick Jerk bait, 1/4 oz jig with a smoke black flake grub also the Rapala CD7 sinking black and silver color. By the way what part of the state do you live?
