Did my volunteer duty last night. One kid could not set his hook on the conventional worm and bobber last week, so I set him up for power bait on the bottom. He hooked and landed two. Other kid caught two on a clear bobber and velveeta. No takers on the worm & bobber. They both left the lake beaming with joy. This has been a great experience for me. Teaching children how to fish adds another dimension to fishing. I'm learning as much about teaching as the kids are about fishing. Hopefully I'll be an expert teacher by the time by daughter is old enough to fish.
