Thanks for the tips moose! Do you believe that the same would apply for the Muskie in the tiny, shallow pond that they planted out here? I was over there last night and the deepest spot I crossed was 16.5 feet. I didn't go looking for the deepest spot, but I had always thought Bullock got to around 30 in places. There is a lot of growth coming up from the bottom. Three to four feet in some places. I'd guess at the names of all the cabbages, tails, and mosses, but I know I'd be wrong. I am planning on spending quite a few afternoons over there the next month or two, and again in the fall, since Mindoup has her heart set on catching one this year. We tagged a few Rainbows (15-17 inch) with a worm and shrimp flavored salmon egg under a bobber for dinner, but figured it was too late and too dark for Bass or Muskie fishing. Besides that, my battery died so no electric or main motor until I get a new one, so we were stuck with the 6h.p. troller. I should have a new battery in it by Monday or Tuesday, and I'm sure she will be itchin to go by then. There was a lot of surface activity all over the lake after dark.
Have I mentioned how great it is to be with someone that not only enjoys my hobby, but asks to go almost every night after work?
Thanks for your help Norman. [
]If you do come out to test the waters, please let me know so I can video tape your fishing from at least 6 different camera angles. [

I actually would think it a pleasure to follow you around the lake and learn. I'll bet I'm not the only one either.
