I-80 Pond, and Lower Provo

I fished this pond Sunday evening and did fairly well stripping small flies like a zug bug. Caught many small bluegil, about 10 Crappie and a few small bass. Lots of fish rising, but never tried dry flies. Anyone got any big fish at this place?? Also fished the Lower Provo river and caught a few nice browns with a san juan worm on the bottom.


Has anyone fished Utah Lake/Jordan river for cats lately.....I was wondering if the fishing had turned on with this warm weather???

I caught a LMB that went about 4 pounds or so a year or two ago. Other than that one, most of the fish I have caught have been in the 6 to 12 inch range....course the gills I have caught were flukefish while going for bass...tiny too. palm sized i guess, course I know nothing of gills, that may be mid range size for those fish as I can make it out. never caught any crappie there, yet, and havent seen the carp either. I usually cast spinners and some plugs, with a few shallow running rapalas in the mix.
