May 12 Report
#1
We have been fishing almost everyday and fishing has improved a good bit in the last couple of weeks. We have finally started catching a few Wahoo’s. The Snapper fishing has been as good as ever and the Amberjacks are doing well. The Grouper and Scamp bite has been surprisingly good for this time of year. The only disappointing aspect of this spring has been the Yellowfin Tuna’s. After a pretty good start to the season they have all but disappeared. I hope that they will get back on track soon as we have a lot of people coming down in the weeks to come who would really like to catch another Tuna. We will be out there a good bit and hopefully things will pick up offshore real soon.

Thanks for the report John.

Just wondering how things were going down your way now that spring is finaly gone and summer has poked its way in finaly,

from the species you mentioned you are fishing in the golf, do you ever find your way in to fresh waters?
