Stewed Rock Crab.

Ingredients [ul] [li]5-6 Live Rock Crabs
[li]3 Strips of Bacon
[li]1 Medium Onion
[li]5 Potatoes
[li]Salt and Pepper
[li]Starch for Thickening
[li]4-5 Cups Water.
[/li][/ul] Directions Start by scrubbing crabs till squeaky clean and then cutting crabs in half. Add the crabs to large pot, and then cover with 4-5 cups water. Chop the bacon into small pieces and add to the pot. Cover and simmer for approximately 30 minutes. Add finely chopped onion, cubed potatoes, salt and pepper and cook until potatoes are nice and soft. Mix starch and water to make a thickening agent and add it to the stew. Heat the stew on medium for five more minutes. Stir until thickened.
