Interesting Tube Accessory
#1

Hey there TubeDude,

Upon checking out if anything new concerning power on tubes was on the net, I found an interesting product about 2 months ago, forgot about it, and remembered it on the same such subject here.

It's the BW sport's Float Power. Personally I don't know which came first, the float tube or the Float Power.

I'll bet one of our advertisers market this product. If our readers are interested (I know you've got the full details already ..... that is .... if you didn't design it or have one) I hope they check here first before they google it.

It looks like this thing could support lots of weight... tht is ... if you could ever fish with it! ha ha ha

[cool][blue]I keep tellin' folks that putting power on a float tube is like bringing a gun to a knife fight. If you want a boat, get a boat. If you want a quiet and hands free way to get amongst the fishies, pull on some fins and shut up.[/blue]

[#0000ff]Seriously, for anybody who wants a small floatation system with an electric...for trolling or simple assistance in current or wind...you should look into some of the pontoon craft that have frames and mounts to accomodate a small motor. [/#0000ff]

That is the thing I have on the back of my tube with my 22# motor guide. It works well, and its not too bulky for when I kick around...I dont use the motor except to move around on bigger lakes...its kinda windy here in Utah most the time..at least when I decide I am gonna use my tube...I think a guy named murphy has alot to do with that though!!!

But it works. its easy to transport and it was less than the motor I bought for it..in short I like it.
