[cool][#408080][size 1]This morning the overcast made the fishing conditions ideal for me. Unfortunately by the time I got out to Irvine Lake the wind started raking the water pretty good. I decided to get out there and do my tubing stuff anyway. Hunted around until my FF found some activity. The wind had blown me about a couple of hundred yards from where I launched my tube.Tried my luck at getting some trout in 30' - 35' of water but no luck. Working back against the wind I was nearing my launch site. Then I decided I would give the sample Assalt lures a try drop shotting. [never tried DS before] Hey that stuff really works. Within a few minutes caught a nice 14" SMB oops change that to LMB. By the way I have yet to catch one fish using the Gulp bait. [/size][/#408080]
