Lindon Boat Harbor 5-22
#1
I went down to Lindon this morning and got skunked. I was there from 8-11 and walked around the harbor casting close to the shore with black senkos, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits. I had one bite, but it was really light and I missed it. I donated several lures to the water gods. It was just a tough morning. Someone on here mentioned that they did pretty well for crappie down there this morning, but most of the people I saw were fishing for catfish and I saw several of them catching what looked like bullheads. I think the weather has put the fish down for a fwe days, and so that's what made the fishing tough. We haven't had the nice sunny weather for several days in a row to put the bass in to their normal patterns. I love fishing for largemouth down there but I haven't had a day like this in Lindon for quite a while. Anyhow, good luck down there. It's usually good at this time of year. I hooked several in the 2-4 pound class in Lindon at this time last year. I'll have to give it another try when we get a nicer weeather pattern going.

Thanks for the report, sorry you had such a hard day on the pond. At least you were able to get out and fish though, unlike some of us unlucky folks who get to be at work. Good luck on your next trip.

I was down there fishing for crappie Friday morning (7:30 to 10:30) from the docks and did ok. Caught 11, 7 were around 8" to 9" long. It was chilly with the breeze blowing, but all in all it was nice. I have had poor luck with the bass this year, only have 4 so far, and they have come over the past 6 weeks. I still like to go down and fish there, close to home. Nails
