Deer Creek/Lake Powell pics
#1
Finally got my pictures from Powell, and one from Deer Creek today (5/22/04). The walleye from DC was 24 inches, and 4lb 14oz. Had another walleye on, but lost him at the boat when he saw the net. Walleyes came in skinny water (8 to 9 ft.) on Bevy shad just doin the pull pause routine. All the Powell smallies came on rattle baits fished as fast as I could reel. We fished out of Wahweap, and had great days with little to no wind which is remarkable for Powell. As you can see by the ramp at Wahweap, the water is low, but the fishing is HOT!
