Well we got there at about 830.Took my brother in law and his 12 year old friend.I set them up with krocodiles and just as i was about to set mine up bam they were both nailing tigers !The fishing was fast and furious between those 2.They didnt even give me a chance to fish because i was unhooking fish and putting them on my stringer! They caught 9 between them in less than a 1/2 hour.We released 3 that were about 14 inches and those were the smallest ones.Fish4fish showed up after the fishing slowed down and both of us were getting skunked! The weather up there was cold the temp read 29 degrees in my car!It was not bad when the sun was shining but when those clouds moved in it was freezing! We finally moved about 1230 to another spot by the dam and no luck. The weather got bad for us at the dam it started snowing on us. Fish4fish decided he had enough for one day and went back to richfield. We decided to go try clev res and no luck there so we came back .WE went back to our first spot and after an hour and half i finally got my first hookup! But i lost it right at the shore line man was i frustrated!5minutes later i did hookup and landed the biggest one of all day!He was 18 inches .So we decided to call it a day.I forgot my camera so no pics this time .

We also hit Huntington the same day. We took the canoe up and was the first ones there. We got on the water at sun-up (bout 5:45 - 6am). It was chilly but we came prepared and had on our ski bibs, etc. We stayed plenty warm. We left about 11am after landing 26 fish. Most were in the 15-16 in range but there were a few 17's in there as well. Most were Tigers, but we did get 6 Cutt's. The majority of the hook-ups were about 20 ft off shore in the canoe trolling pretty much anything silver. We pulled off the lake for a few and caught several nice ones about 5 ft off shore. We had an awesome day and the fishing was fantastic. The only suck part was that my battery didnt charge like it was supposed to so my electric motor was no good. We ended up paddling it. Wasnt bad at all. Early in the morning it did snow on us a few times.

That sounds like a blast. I can't wait to fish up there this summer. My in laws have some old family property as you get toward the top of Fairview Canyon just off to your left there's a little dirt road turn off with a heavy steel gate, just before you see that old ski lift thing on your right. That's her family's property, and we're gonna camp up there in July. Think I'll make a couple of return trips up there before the deer hunt gets too crazy there.
