Deep Creek dam repairs

I heard yesterday that the gate they installed on the Deep Creek dam last year was defective and they might have to drain the water out again this year to fix the dam gate again. Has anyone else heard that? If so, then they will probably loose all the trout they planted last year and this year both. That used to be one of my favorite spots. I hope they can get the fishery there resurrected and good again. Acey

Thanks for the info. I hope they can find another way to get the gate fixed so the reservoir doesn't have to get drained again this year.
