i am going up to the unitas with my scouts and I want to find a spot to go camping and fishing along the mirror lake highway. any tips on some of the lakes that might be good for the rianbows this time of year will lbe going up there over the 4th and 5th of june. thanks[angelic]

There are many lakes to choose from in the Murdock Basin area. It is before Trial Lake on the south side of the road. There are booklets that you can buy from the DWR that show where the lakes are located. The best thing to do is to find a lake close to the road and then hike to the other lakes to fish. The less the pressure the better the fishing. Use a spin cast rig with a dry fly and a bobber that you can put water in. Cast as far out as you can and reel in very slowly. No wake from the bubble or the fish will spook. Be sure to let us know how you do. The snow may not be gone till mid June. Check ahead for snow reports. DKS

2 Weeks ago the lakes above Trial were still frozen over and the weather has not been kind lately. Try fishing along the Provo from Soapstone up to Murdock turnoff, the water is high but there should still be opportunities for good fishing.

hi jacob this is colton i got i reply from a bass pro that is on a tour right now and i now that he is a real bass pro because he had lots of sponcers instead of smilies isn't that cool! right back[cool]
