I was there a couple weekends ago and we limited out in 2 hrs. We were using floating power bait off the bottom on the dam. Use a trebble hook about the size of the end of your pinkie and a ball of power bait about the size of you pinkie fingernail and as soon as they hit it yank back and thye won't swallow the whole think, We caught a couple dozen and only kept out limit of 4 each. but it was fun! Any color of power bait worked, including 4 year old power balls. They reall have improved the lake since the last time I was up there. Very pretty and worth a look.

I know that the campgrounds don't officially open till June 4, but can you camp there anyway? I'll be up there that weekend by the way. Can't wait!

Moose,
Thanks for the input. I'm happy to hear the fish'in is good because it hasn't been for a few years.

I don't know about the CG's we just stopped at the dam and went fishing. I think there were some people camping by one of the boat ramps along the shore line, but I'm not sure they had tents set up but when we went to leave they were packing up too.
