Duck Valley Stillwaters
#1
FISHING: Good
Duck Valley Indian Reservation

Good

The two best lakes down there right now are Mountain View and Billy Shaw. Sheep Creek is also fishing fair. With the increase in temperature will come the increase in bug and fish activity both. There are a lot of damsels hatching now and the Chironomids are really starting to pop out as well. This is a good place for anybody interested in stillwater fishing to go. Fish sinking lines mostly but have a dry line ready for those shallow cruisers eating midges.

Flies: Damsel nymphs, sz. 12-8; Chironomids, sz. 14-10; Stayner Ducktail, sz. 10-8; Woolly Buggers in black, brown, olive, and Halloween, sz. 10-6; Mohair leeches in brown and olive, sz. 12-8; Parachute Midge in balck, olive, or cream, sz. 18-14
