when the weather looked nice this afternoon I decided it was my best chance to get in some action before the storm comin' in so I went to willow at 3p and it was non-stop for bluegill with the fly rod for a couple hours. Most of it was top water. Nice afternoon. This pond is loaded with fish right now!

how big are the bluegill you were catching ?

most of them were small but there were a few fat hogs. 4" to 6".

Willow Pond is located in Murray. If you would like more info You can contact Murray Parks and Rec at 264-2614. I think that is the correct number. BTW this is the newest of our urban ponds and its looking like they may have got it right!
