Last class for kids that night, few showed up no fish fry[

My freind and his wife came out and we fished, I caught 2 bows...and a plethora of gills...I dont know what makes a HOG gill but I caught one that was about 6 or 8 inches long, that one was fun to bring in...I just had a fly on under a bobber and drifted it in front of the weed patches and over the moss beds. the trout came on worm tipped with salmon egg, the fish seemed to preferr half worms instead of whole ones, I learned this by fluke as I was getting harassed by gills stealing my bait then WHAMO trout. fished from 6:30 till about 9 pm, got dark and the bite was still on, fish of all kinds rising everywhere, I think Ill go back this weekend and find those smallies I let go of again with some rapalas, they were pushing 2 pounds if not 3, I think I like willow pond and the people around it are always nice. Its a good spot for the family...I will be there more I think now I dont have a job.
