flaming gorge/green river
#1
I am going up to flaming gorge on sunday and fishing monday morning and afternoon and was wondering if anyone has had any success lattly with the smallmouth bass in there and the rainbows that are supposed to be good sized this year. are the smallmouths in the shallows yet? and are the rainbows still there? we will be taking a small aluminum boat with us so is there still any way that we can go after the smaller macks in there. with out geting over turned? would you sugest fishing for the bass and trout with crank baits or tube jigs/grubs? how deep are the fishing (bass, trout, macks) holding this time of year? any other tips or hints would be great. Thanks for the help. TIGHT LINES FISHING IS MY LIFE FISHON thanks

I was there last weekend. Sorry but we didnt work the smallies. The Rainbow's we caught were all taken from shore with mellow/crawlers. After grafting the area we found they were holding in 25' - 30' of water and smaller Mack were found in the same depth. The Bow's we caught ranged from 1 to 3 pounds. Larger Mack we grafted were scattered between 60-90. Good luck, knock em dead!
