Went carp shooting today out at Willard. We actually just walked the canal on the east side, but I did peek up over the dike to look for surfacing fish, but didn't see any, so we stuck to the canal. We had a great time, not a ton of fish seen today, but we did stick a few. My little bro even stuck one that had been shot previously, and had it's entrails trailing behind it! Would have made good catfish chum!!!!!
The weather was beautiful, but the bugs were very thick. Thanks goodness for the southern cologne (off).
It's always fun to go stick some carp. The make great fertilizer, but I didn't bring any home this time.
