Willard Report 4 june 04
#1
Well, got the boat out today for the first time. Hit Willard at about 0730. Trolled the island and west dike till 1130 and only managed 1 1.5Lb Walleye on a Blue producer. Was marking fish like crazy along the west dike, but no takers. My boat was pushing 4mph according to the GPS the whole time, I guess my next buy will be a trolling plate for it. Water temp ranged from 66 to 69 degree's.

Was good to get back on the water!

At least you didn't get skunked! How did the new boat run?

It ran OK. I busted the bow strap on the trailer so I had to run to Smith and Eddie's and buy a tie down strap to get it home. I also dinged all three blades on the prop when it met the boat ramp! But they are even dings, so I will file the rough edges and call it good. [Wink]
