[#000000]ARROWROCK RESERVOIR, ID—Nearly 17,000 8- to 11-inch rainbow trout were recently stocked in Arrowrock Reservoir. The Idaho Department of Fish and Game plans to stock more fish in the reservoir throughout the rest of the year. [/#000000]

[#000000]The program is part of a mitigation package agreed to and paid for by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, the federal agency overseeing management of Arrowrock Reservoir and Dam. Last year, the reservoir was drawn down to less than 2 percent of capacity so workers could replace aging valves at the base of the dam. As a result, nearly all of the reservoir's fish washed into adjacent Lucky Peak Reservoir.[/#000000]
