Utah Lake access?
#1
Does anyone know if there is any place between Provo and American Fork when someone could put in a small kayak without having to go and pay just to park at the harbors?

Just south of Lindon boat harbor and past the ponds is a place. It is by bubble up. I dont know if you can still drive down to the beach so it may be a long walk.

You can definitely launch a kayak from the bubble up. It's about 1/4 mile south of the Lindon Boat harbor. There is a beach you can launch from, or you can walk down the road on the dike and launch from the bubble up. You will have to walk a good 100 yards or so carrying your kayak though.

Another option would be to put in at the Center Street bridge in Provo, in the river just barely upstream from the state park. You can then paddle down the river out into the lake from there.

If you don't mind fishing the West side you can use the Pelican bay marina. It was free last year not sure if it still is now though.
