there's nothing like catching a big ol' bugle mouth bass to break the fishing blues .
yep , to get the ticker pumping bigtime a doughball sitting on the bottom can lead up to a real arm tireing workout that you just might decide to brag about . ask davetclown about his flyrod catch last year , it netted him a master anglers award .
i mean be truthfull , a 30, 40, 50 pound fish is enough to get anyones attention in a conversation , even if it is slow to get the respect it is deserving of as a prospective sport fish .
here's a doughball recipie to get you started , you can find more on the main board under the recipe forum run by tubeN2 .
#1) Really its quite simple. Take one whole piece of bread and remove the crust. after dipping the rest in bacon grease roll it into a tight ball until semi hard. Great for carp! you can substitute the bacon greese with corn , barley , cheese , boiled rice or any breakfast cerial or kool-aid flavored mix .
i usually get my bugle mouths with the bow but the trout stream rules make it difficult for me to find a place to go to .
