Barker Reservoir - Reservoir is full and fishing is fair for trout using night crawlers, salmon eggs or Power Bait. Spinners also work mornings and evenings. Bait outfishes lures but some trout are being caught on flies when the wind doesn't blow, which is not often at this time of year.

Bellaire Lake - Fishing for trout is good using nightcrawlers, Sparkle Power Bait, Fireballs. Metal lure casters are doing very well with Kastmasters, Super Dupers and small Tasmanian Devils. Best results are along the west side and north end from boats or belly boats. Evening fly action on Blue Dun, Iron Blue Dun and Brown Humpy dries.

Big Creek Lakes - Fishing has been excellent at the southwestern inlet of the lower lake for mackinaw and rainbows. BH Prince Nymphs and San Juan Worms as point flies have produced well with #16 Pheasant Tails or Hare's Ears as droppers. Fish the inlet upstream to the higher lake using a #16 Elk Hair Caddis or Royal Wulff through riffle sections. A #14 Mosquito, #18 Griffiths Gnat or #16 Parachute Adams work well along the shorelines in the evenings. Float Tubers are doing very well on the west side using Prince Nymphs, Olive or Black Matukas and Hornberg Muddlers. For tiger muskies or lake trout fish deep with Gitzits or Gold Kastmasters. Best areas for the lunkers are along the eastern shoreline where there is lots of structure. Water is not available at the campground.

Big Thompson Ponds - Catfish are biting on chicken livers, popcorn shrimp and a variety of other baits in the back pond. Bass fishing is fair to good with crayfish and crayfish imitations.

Big Thompson River - Rain has raised the river above and below Estes Lake. It is running fast and off-color, difficult to fish.

Boedecker Reservoir - The lake is filling slowly and the boat ramp is now open. Anglers seem to be avoiding this one but fishing should be good. Someone please try.

Boulder Reservoir - Water levels are high due to recent rain. Fishing for walleyes is fair to slow, but try near the inlet to increase your odds. Use a chartreuse jig with a worm trailer. Bass are biting on minnows, worms or white jigs. Try for catfish near the southeast beach using chicken livers.

Boyd Lake - Walleye fishing is fair to good with several fish weighing over 3 pounds caught on Rattlin' Rogues, 5-inch Norman jerkbaits, harnessed crawlers and white Twister tails. Lake has also been stocked with trout and they are hitting on Thomas Buoyants, Krocodiles, Kastmasters and bait of all kinds. A few nice catfish have been taken from boats about 150 yards off the east shore. They are hitting minnows and harnessed crawlers fished with a slip sinker.
