Some of the best fishing of the year is happening now. The catfish are still spawning on the rocks. They will fisnish the spawn soon. Most are being caught under bobbers set at 6' to 8'. During the day the fish are moving deeper and are hitting the bottom bouncing. Worm and shrimp are the better baits.Whitebass are hitting along the old river channels. They seem to hit better during the heat of the day when the current is running. Bluegill are very good on crickets arond the docks.
