Youngsters and adults who want to learn how to fish are invited to attend a free clinic that will be presented by the Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) on Saturday, July 24, at 9 a.m. at Sunset Park’s fishing pond in Las Vegas.
The clinic, which is taught by NDOW staff and volunteer fishing instructors, will cover the fundamentals of fishing. These include casting, baits and lures, knots and fish identification. Fishing tackle will be available for use at the event. Participants 12 years and older are required to have a fishing license.
