Went up to Jordanelle today with my cousin lyman, did pretty good catching perch, I guess thats what he called them. Tried one of my boo bradley milkyminnow lures and golly a 25" bronze back just slamed it! I also caught 4 more from 10 to 20 inches and a 16" trout. ooooowweeeee what a day I'll tell you what man.

Actually a 25 inch smallmouth wouldnt be a nice smallie, it would be the new state record.
Actually, thats getting awfully close to the world record smallmouth bass length.
Thats a smallmouth pushing 10 lbs. Especially in jordanelle where the fish are fat and heavy for thier lengths.
Yep, no doubt about it, i am going to have to see the picture on this one. If theres a 25 inch smallie that came out of jordanelle, I want a copy of that pic.

I think I agree with you PREDATOR, a picture is worth a thousand words. We all know that fisherman never tell fish stories.

Maybe it was the infamous "buglemouth" subspecies of bronzebacks. I have caught several of those over 25 inches. Wouldn't it be cool though to see a 25 incher, even a picture. Good luck to all this wekend.
