Phil,
First I want to welcome you to the BFT message boards. CA has alot of fishing clubs and we have alot of CA anglers on the board. You should have a list of clubs in your area soon.[Smile]

Texas Gulf Coast Fisher <*(())))))))))>{
http://myweb.ecomplanet.com/ROSS6959/

could not find any thing directly related to surf fishing but if you hang out with some of the guys at one of these clubs you will find or form one.

the pjroblem may be that if there is a surf fishing club they have not made a web site that I can find (does not mean that there is not one (hanging around the peirs may prove productive in finding a surf club also check with your local chamber of commerce many small clubs will register with them.

forming your own club can be lots of fun

http://myweb.ecomplanet.com/MESS6438/
For Kids Sake
Recycle your old Equipment
Dave

Phil,
Just a quik note of caution! I no longer live in California (has been over 20 years) But there has been a hidden danger in the surf for aslong as I can remember. There is a verry bad riptide that will pull you off your feet before you know it along the coast.So by all meens be carefull. Most anglers have adapted by using the tubbing method to fully enjoy the coastal fishing. Take care and good fishing.[Smile]

Texas Gulf Coast Fisher <*(())))))))))>{
http://myweb.ecomplanet.com/ROSS6959/
