Horsethief Reservoir: Fishing for stocked trout has been good to excellent. This last week success has dropped off some. Both shore and fly anglers have all reported good success! Some brown trout up to 21 inches have been reported as well.
Cascade Reservoir: Reports of good to excellent boat fishing for 12 - 16 inch coho salmon and rainbow trout up to 4 lbs. Troll pop gear and a worm, 10 to 20 feet deep. Smallmouth bass fishing has also been good from boats and from shore around the rocky shoreline areas such as Crown Point, the golf course, sugarloaf point, etc..
Warm Lake and Corral Creek: Boats trolling pop gear and a worm have reported fair fishing for catchable size planted rainbow trout on Warm Lake. No reports for Corral Creek but it should be good shore fishing. Both lakes have been stocked!
Oxbow Reservoir: Excellent smallmouth bass fishing for fish 12 to 14 inches in length. Catfish fishing should be very good now.
Hells Canyon Reservoir: Good catches of smallmouth bass and catfish reported.
Lower Brownlee Reservoir: Excellent smallmouth bass fishing for fish 12 to 14 inches in length. A few nice crappie are being taken by slow trolling and by jig fishermen. Catfish fishing should be good here as well but no recent reports.
Salmon River Spring Chinook salmon: The river is now CLOSED to salmon fishing.
Little Salmon River Chinook: Salmon fishing is still open. Fishing should be best above Rapid River in the Hazard Creek area. Salmon released as smolts in 2002 have returned to this area with very few anglers fishing. Check the IDFG website for weekly updates on salmon fishing success around the state.
C. Ben Ross: No report. Largemouth bass fishing should be great.
Lost Valley Reservoir: Has been stocked and fishing should be good!
S. F. Salmon River Chinook salmon: Season is CLOSED.
Herrick and Tripod Reservoirs: Both have been stocked with catchable size trout and fishing has been good to excellent with bait.
