what are some good lakes to catch largemouth bass from shore, and what should i use to catch them with?

Lakes: Utah Lake, Deer Creek Reservoir, Jordanelle Reseervoir, Pineview Reservoir and many of the small ponds in almost every town in Utah. They are everywhere!

My Goto baits are tubes and jigs.

If anyone is ever in South Carolina, hit up Lake Murray in Columbia for some Large Mouth action. One of the best Large Mouth bodies of water in the country. BASS regularly holds tourneys there and they pull monsters out of there all the time. Not to mention the catfishing as well. I have caught countless numbers of Cats in the 20-30 lb. range. Blue Cats that weigh between 50 and 100 lbs are not uncommon there. It's a great place for Large Mouth, Smallies, All types of Cats, Crappie, Stripers, White Perch, Bream, and many others. I highly recommend it if you are ever out that way. I lived there for 18 years and pulled in a ton of fish over the years.
