Predator, ya know,
The more I talk with you, on or off line I learn you know a lot. [shocked] I think you and tube should hook up. As far as reapers go, I read something about them in a fishing thing I get about how well they work on smallies in the Snake, etc. a couple of years ago and thought I'd try em out since I can't get my favorite anymore. When I go back to the Snake I plan on using em. I'll have to look into Joe Butcher's reaper. I'm looking for one that's a little more delicate (flexible).
By the way, the green bitsy tube with a chartruse tail that I showed ya works good too, at least at Pineview. [sly]
fish4fish,
They are a plastic and the particular ones I bought recently were made by Kamakazee and either the pumpkin or guacamole II work good. Beware - they just happen to work for me at Pinview and Jordanalle. They are just one of the many lures that work well on smallies. You can't go wrong with anything that looks like a crawdad that is fished slow on the bottom.
Get out there and fish, especially these guys, and report back!!!! [cool] Good luck.
