WE TOOK A TRIP TO FISH LAKE LAST WED-THUR. WE GOT OUT ON THE WATER AROUND NOON ON WED. IT WAS A LITTLE OVERCAST. IT DIDN'T TAKE LONG TO START CATCHING FISH. WE CAUGHT A BUNCH OF NICE TROUT AND MY SON CAUGHT A LITTLE LAKE. THUR. WAS CLEAR AND HOT WE STILL CAUGHT A TON OF FISH BUT THEY WHERE SMALLER. I WAS KNOCKING THEM DEAD ON POP GEAR AND A WORM ON THUR. WED I DID REALLY WELL WITH A ORANGE-GOLD RAPALA.

Thanks for the report, sounds like a great time at Fish lake. How fast and deep were you trolling? What part of the lake did you do the best at? WH2

WE SEEMED TO DO THE BEST AROUND THE MACKANAW BAY AREA. WE ALSO TROLLED THE FAR SIDE OFF THE LAKE AND PICKED UP ALOT ON THE FINDER. 40 TO 45 FEET SEEMED TO BE THE BEST DEPTH BUT MY RIGGER BROKE THE FIRST DAY SO WE JUST USED LEADED LINE AND WENT OUT ABOUT5 COLORS. NOT SURE ON THE SPEED BUT I HAD MY ELEC. MOTORS SET ON 4 AND IT WAS ABOUT THE SAME AS WHAT WE HAD THE GAS ONE RUNNING AT.
