Little Dell Reservoir?

Is this still closed to fishing? I was up there checking it out in the late evening and saw LOADS of big rising cutts.

Be sure not to get Little Dell and Mountain Dell mixed up. Mountain Dell is the reservoir that is closest to the I-80 Freeway (just west of the Mountain Dell golf course), and it is closed to fishing (not sure why the fishing proclamation doesn't state this). One can see the Little Dell dam north of the freeway and the reservoir is reached by taking the road towards East Canyon.

I suspect he meant Mtn Dell. Having fished Little Dell 2-3 times in the past few weeks I have seen little to no surface activity.

I fished Little Dell three times last week, twice in the morning, and once in the evening. I picked up very few fish on the finder and even saw fewer fish jumping. Little Dell is the perfect place to escape the city and find peace, but not the best place to catch a large number of fish.

Never made it up. Ended up sitting home and packing all the goodies for this weekends antics @ Jordanelle. 2 full days of smally action. Looking forward to it.

Will hit Little Dell after work next week sometime though.
