Pinview - 8/27

Hit Pineview for 1/2 day in my tube with Sparky. It's not like Lake X for size but it sure is convinient to me. Besides, I don't have to pay any fees. Fishing was a lot slower. Caught 8, 11 - 13 in. guys, which is just fine for a nice afternoon with Sparky. Caught em on the pumpkin reaper again, Texas rigged. Since the weather is improving, am considering going to the Snake for smallies next week.

Dude and Petty,
Looking forward to meeting you guys in a tube. Dude - Petty and I would really appreciate any lessons on tubing, fishing or otherwise. Petty - if that's the tube I think it is, it will be my next tube when this one wears out. I hope you guys can tolerate Sparky swimming around keeping me company. He's taken over as my "Bud". Actually, I think he might even stir the fish up a bit and increase the bite??? Sounds a little far fetched?? LOL

[#0000ff]We've been hanging out a lot at Jordanelle, but as soon as the power squadron declines on Pineview, after the water cools a bit, I definitely want to renew old acquaintances on that pond. I'll count on you and Sparky to put me on the fish, and I can handle it from there.[/#0000ff]
