lake powell report..

just got back from lake powell for 5 days.. what a great place to fish and to just take a boat ride.. well the striper were not in the mode to boil the whole time i was there only seen 3 boils and only one that we got on and got some fish out of.. trolling was the best bet for the stripes that we found.. rattle-trap in LMB and in green and yellow.. was doing best.. of corse the SM BASS fishing was great all over the lake.. got in to 6 eyes in one night by lake canyon 5 lbs was the biggest eye we got.. the eyes were hitting a do-dad color 3"tube jig down about 30 to 40 feet on the rock piles.. the SM Bass would hit just about any currly tail you through out..
i would like to show you all the pic's i took while i was there but had a problm with the camrea and got no pic's!!

and that sucks bad!! I had a 25" eye and a 29" striper that would have helped me on the fuzzyfisher chalange..

oh well thats the way it go's..
next time i will not leve the photo card for the cramrea at home..
