I don't think I've ever been to Mantua. What kind of fish are in there? We (me and Ocean and the kids) are going to Willard Bay Saturday morning. Maybe we will see you there. I used to dove hunting with my brother when we were small. I would like to go again in the Spring. We used to shoot pheasants, too. Well, good luck this weekend.

Mantua has a variety of fish. It has pretty large blue gill in it, perch. bass, and an occasional trout. It is hard to fish it from shore, but we have gotten some from shore. It has alot of weed in it but we just float until we find a hole around some of those weeds and we couldn't keep the blue gill off.We camped it about a month ago and went out in a boat. There were four of us and we got over 400 fish.Mostly gills but did get a few perch. bass, and a couple of trout. You probably know that it is artificial only which made it interesting to fish for me, I don't go anywhere without the worms.
You should give it a try it is not to far from Willard Bay.
