Green river info request

I am going to float the Green in a pontoon boat this weekend. I thought there was a service to give you a ride back up to the damn from little hole, but I can't find any information. I just wanted to call and make sure they are still running this weekend.

Also, if anybody has any hot tips, they are of course welcome.

Last time I floated the green (some 4 years ago) about half way down from the damn to little hole I landed a 21 incher. I was using
a bead head red and copper (size 22) and a royal wolf as an attractor. It took the royal wolf. But if you want just some fun use a royal wolf at the rapids just before little hole. this time of year you might try a hopper pattern for an attractor.
I havent been to the green since. hope you have a good time. let us know how the fishing was and all about where and what you used.

If you want a ride back from little hole, go to www.fglodge.com They will take care of you. The other site posted may also offer rides but I know this one will. The other site will have a downloadable current fishing report with what is working each week. I use them when I go to the Green. I will catch far more trout on the bottom using small bead heads or large streamers than I will fishing dry. Be sure to pound the shore line as you float the river. Best tip! Mend your line often and keep it drag free! Wish that I was going to be there myself. This is prime time at the Green. Good luck and have fun. DKS.
