echo...
#1
fished echo on sunday and tuesday..
fished on the north east side of lake. near the boat ramp.
if u want to catch perch, the fishing cant be better. on sunday we caught 130 perch in 5 hours beetween 5 poeple. fast and furious. with some up to 11 inches. my mom hooked into a 7lb carp. and we also caught a 15 inch rainbow before the sun went down. i used a rooster tail for a few minutes and caught 3 smallies one was 2lbs. and the other 2 were about a lb.
on tuesday it was the same story. fast and furious perch fishing. 80 perch 2 smallies and my little sister caught a 6lb carp on her ice rod.. she is 6 and likes to use it... it was soo cool to see her fight that carp on 4lb test and an ice rod.
but i have yet to catch a cat there. i dont know if i am fishing the wrong area or what, but i fished with various cat baits, the whole time i was there and still yet to catch one.. if anyone can give me some advice i would greatly appreciate it..

sounds like you had a fun time up there. Did you try the little smokey's? we talked about holding your tung right! sounds like you had it in the perch position.

I am taking some scouts there in a few weeks and would like to get them in to some fast perch action. can you tell me what you were using and where you were fishing?
Thanks Cableguy
