Willard Bay
#1
I went out to the Bay tonight but I have to say what a slow night. I got out there around 7:30 and fished untill dark. I never even got a bite until right before dark and it was fast and furious for about 5 minuntes. The Sad thing is that I had 4 fish on and I lost them all right at the boat. Sad day.

Slow is a good way too put it......yup, a real good way! Glad someone got a little action yesterday. What area did you finally hook up, Skeeter?

I hope this warming up will get things going again. I'd hate to see this happen for the wiper tourney. I can see it now....."First place goes _______ with a total weight of 15 oz. No other places because there were no other fish caught!". That would suck!

I found the fish right on the Island. Almost every night I've been out there the Island will produce. I've noticed that the Wipers will stage off the Island just out in the deeper water. Then when its just about dark they push the shad up into the shallows to feed. But I'm with you the only pattern I have is at dark and the tournament ends what around 3:00 pm I'm in trouble. One thing to remember is that we still have a month to go allot can change in a month.
