Pineview Report 9-27-04

fished pineview tonight with Yper and jr. caught about 40 or so smallies on tubes, maniac senkos and reapers, nothing huge 14" i think was the biggest. always a pleasure to fish with yper.

One question. I'm pretty new to smallie and largemouth fishin. What is a "reaper?" I've never heard of that before.

I was out at Pineview last night too, I was in my aluminum 16 footer w/ the side console, what boat were you fishing out of? I saw a few other bass boats out to. I caught a 15" smallie on a perch yo-zuri crankbait right before the wind came in over by Anderson Cove. After the wind we went over to the narrows and caught about 20 more small smallies. They were hitting salted tubes when we casted them onto the rocks and drug them into the water slowly.

nice report, havnt fished at the veiw for a couple of weeks, maybe i will head up there tonight or tomarrow.

I wil have my boat up there tonight again, if anyone needs a lift or a boat to fish from let me know. They stopped charging to launch your boat on the ramp near the yacht club. Been up there the last 3 nights and the fella at the trailer said to just go on through.
