Found this on another site:
"Chance of Tooele caught 3 channel cats using candy gummi worm"
Can anyone verify that there really are channels in Echo?

Yes there are channels in Echo. I have caught them on rainbow power bait while fishing for trout and on worm's off the bottom.

there are a good number of channels in echo as well. they dont have much size to them, biggest are up to 9lbs or so. i just started fishing echo for cats this summer. it can be really good sometimes, and really bad others. i use perch meat, or shrimp. when i use crawlers i cant keep the perch off.

I've always wanted to fish Echo for catfish. Is there any certain area that's better than others? I still have perch meat from last winter.
