Slow Cooker Lamb Shanks

Prep: 5 min, Cook: 8:00. [ul] [li]4 lamb shanks, fat trimmed [li]3/4 cup hot water [li]2 tsp. prepared mustard [li]2 tsp. beef stock powder [li]2 tsp. horseradish sauce [li]2 cloves garlic, minced [li]3 Tbs. apple or mint jelly [li]2 Tbs. lemon juice[/li][/ul]
Prepare broiler. Broil lamb 4 inches from heat source to brown on all sides. Transfer lamb to a slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Cover and cook on low 8 hours or on high 4 hours.
This recipe serves 4 people. Due to the nature of this recipe, it adjusts the number of servings in multiples of 4 only
