[black]What is the name of the search bar? I have one last week and did a search with the name of the search bar and removed and found a bunch of others that had solved the problem.[/black]

Downloadinstall and use Mozzila Firefox from www.mozzila.org. Also instal spy bot search and destroy and ad aware downloadable from www.download.com. Firefox is very good at not letting anything in, no spyware no popups.

Yeah I would try spybot search and destroy. It sometimes catches ones that adaware doesn't find (and vice-versa too).

I tried to attach it but it's too big, but you can download it from here on download.com:

If that doesn't work, then I'd try running an internet antivirus scan called housecall. You can use it from the following url:

Personally, I'd get rid of Mcafee, but that's just my opinion. Spybot works pretty good at getting rid of spyware. I also have a popup blocker, but that slows things down too.
I used to get all sorts of toolbars and stuff that I'm guessing my kids downloaded, or clicked "yes" when they should have clicked "no", but I recently downloaded Mozilla Firefox, and haven't had a single popup. It seems more stable too.

you can get adaware se that is the newest version, spybot search and destroy, and theres also a program called stinger it is produced by mcaffe it is free and it is a small download. you can also google the name of the search bar and probably find how to get rid of it.

I'll second the Firefox suggestion. I've been using stuff from Mozilla for a very long time. No popups. No junk. Just easy browsing. MS IE is junk for security. ActiveX sucks to high heaven. What is the name of the toolbar that keeps popping up?

It just says Search Bar and has a topic of Related Searches with a bunch useless information. I'm running spybot now. I couldn't find a FIrefox under mozzila.

I spelt' it wrong try this page, http://www.mozilla.org/ the version to use is 1.0. I also use thunderbird from these guys for my mail client and I can say it is solid, no problems. In fact after using firefox web browser I have had ZERO spyware issue and pop ups. The only thing it will not work on is MSN games and the Microsoft Updates pages; go figure. Trust me; dump microsoft internet explorer it is slow and full of holes.
