Koosharem

I may be heading toward Loa and Bicknell next week and I'm wondering if anyone has ice fished Koosharem. I assume it has ice by now, but I'm wondering. Any info will be appreciated.

just got off the phone with my buddy down in koosharem.. he says that him and his boy was fishing koosharem 2 days ago and his boy cought a 24" cutt out of there.. he said the ice was safe!! and that he was driveing his truck out on the ice today.. he says the ice is 8 to 10 inches thick right now.. i asked about fish lake he said that as of yesterday the lake is mostly open.. he is going up tomorow to check again.. i will let you all know what he finds out..
he said that a gold kastmaster or white tube jig tipped with salmon eggs and worm was what was working best down about 10 feet..
