Lake Mead report
#1
Sunday Dec 19. Water surface temp 56.8 to 57. Clear, calm. Air temp max maybe 60. Cool in shade and I'm wearing Cold Gear under the shirts. Tried for Largemouth Bass in several different locations fishing in lower end of Mead out of Boulder Basin. Saw scattered small schools of baitfish, usually around 25 to 30 ft, but no bass. Some small striper schools were graphed. One possible tick on jig in 25 ft off some chunk rock. Time for pork! Off to Bass Pro shops this afternoon. Spooning, dropshotting and a little swimbait time all netted big zero. Think I just didn't find them.

Cruised by Horsepower Cove about 5:00PM. People fishing from the dock and one boat drifting and casting. Strong trout smell. Surprising to me since the plant was only 600+ trout.
