My one trip to causey yielded just as slow a fishing as my trip to stawberry did, the difference was that the fish were twice as big on the berry. Stawberry however has a lot more snow and slush and getting around can be a bear, plus stawberry is a good half an hour further away. I'll be at strawberry on friday, if you decide to go that way I'll have my radio on 12-0, give me a call if you come up.

Red-head, I fished Causey yesterday afternoon and it was tough access!! There was a nasty layer of slush on top and it made it a pain to get through. We did catch quite a few but they we small - 8-14" and no kokanee!! I did catch splake, tiger, cut and a bow though. I have not been to the berry since the storms. I am used to this tough access stuff in late Feb and March, but not January?!! Jake
